Oasis Reunion Tour 2025 Hits Dublin’s Croke Park

One of the most iconic bands in British and Irish music history is finally coming home. As part of the hotly anticipated Oasis Reunion Tour 2025, Liam and Noel Gallagher will take the stage at Croke Park on August 16 and 17, marking their first live performance together in Ireland in over 15 years.

Following emotional sold out shows in Cardiff, Manchester and London’s Wembley Stadium, Oasis Live at Croke Park promises to be more than a concert. It is set to be a landmark moment in Irish music culture.

Oasis and Ireland: A Deep Rooted Connection

Though formed in Manchester, Oasis’s connection to Ireland has always been deeply personal. Their mother, Peggy Gallagher, was born in Charlestown, County Mayo, and that Irish heritage has helped fuel a loyal following from Irish fans since the band’s explosive rise in the 1990s.

That connection was on full display during the band’s opening show in Cardiff on July 4, when an “Erin Go Bragh” flag meaning Ireland Forever was draped across the stage. It was a powerful and subtle tribute to their roots, placed just behind Noel Gallagher’s amplifier. As reported by IrishCentral, the gesture resonated deeply with fans, offering a proud nod to the band's enduring bond with Ireland.

From early gigs in Dublin’s Point Depot to Liam’s solo 3Arena headline, Oasis have long held a strong Irish fanbase. But the upcoming Croke Park shows mark the first time in over a decade that the Gallagher brothers will stand on an Irish stage together and the symbolism could not be clearer.

A Tour Marked by Emotion, Legacy and Demand

The Oasis Live 25 tour officially launched on July 4 in Cardiff, where 70000 fans filled the Principality Stadium for a setlist packed with anthems. Reviews hailed the show as unapologetically nostalgic and unfiltered stadium sized catharsis. Liam and Noel opened hand in hand, a striking image after years of estrangement, before launching into Hello, Morning Glory, Wonderwall and Live Forever.

In Manchester, the band returned to Heaton Park, revisiting a venue tied closely to their early years. The homecoming performances were gritty, loud and stripped back, proof that Oasis’s music still hits with the same power decades on.

At Wembley Stadium, across seven sold out shows, Oasis played to over 600000 fans. One emotional high point came when Liam dedicated Stand By Me to Noel, a moment that sent social media into overdrive. The Wembley run also included a tragic incident, when a fan died after falling from an upper tier. Oasis responded with a heartfelt tribute the following night, opening with a stripped down version of Live Forever in honour of the fan. The performance added a poignant layer to what was otherwise a monumental run of shows.

What to Expect at Croke Park

With demand at record breaking levels and Irish fans among the first to sell out their dates, the Oasis Croke Park shows on August 16 and 17 are expected to be emotional, unforgettable and uniquely Irish.

Fans can look forward to a hit stacked setlist including Supersonic, Cigarettes and Alcohol, Some Might Say, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Don’t Look Back in Anger and more. With Richard Ashcroft and Cast as support acts, the night promises to deliver a full circle celebration of Britpop, roots and legacy.

The production remains deliberately minimal. No pyrotechnics or elaborate visuals, just raw sound, soaring vocals and a sea of up to 80000 voices united in one of the country’s most iconic venues.

From fans waving tricolour flags and Mayo jerseys to chants of Erin Go Bragh, these shows are expected to bring together identity, nostalgia and a celebration of Irish pride.

A Milestone in Modern Music History

For fans in Ireland and across the globe, the Oasis Reunion Tour 2025 represents a once in a generation comeback. For Liam and Noel Gallagher, performing together at Croke Park in front of the Irish crowd that has stood by them through every twist and turn may prove to be their most meaningful stop yet.
