The album came out in 010 as the twelfth solo album from Nina Hagen, the Godmother of German Punk. Arriving after this iconoclastic performance artist surprisingly had herself baptized the previous year, it's an album of covers of religious and traditional songs in gospel arrangements, spearheaded by a terrific version of the title track originally written by Depeche Mode.
