Elvis Now' was, despite the title, recorded between early 1969 and the summer of 1971 and encompasses different genres including country, gospel, soul and pop. We see for example Kris Kristofferson-penned 'Help Me Make It Through the Night' and The Beatles' 'Hey Jude', all lavishly arranged keeping in mind the Las Vegas aesthetic of 70's Elvis.
