Coltrane's Sound' was recorded in 1960 and later released in 1964. The album is seen as a great introduction to Coltrane's music for anyone who isn't familar with his back catalogue. Not only is Coltrane in top form but powerhouse pianist McCoy Tyner contributed significantly.
