This new pressing of bassist Leroy Vinnegar's first album as a leader Leroy Walks! is released as part of Acoustic Sounds celebration of Contemporary Records.

Originally released in 1958 the album sees Victor Feldman, Gerald Wilson, Teddy Edwards, Carl Perkins, and Tony Bazley joining Vinnegar.

The album was recorded in July and September 1957 and released in 1958. With six of the seven songs including the word "walk" in their title, including "Would You Like to Take a Walk," "Walkin' My Baby Back Home," "I'll Walk Alone," and Vinnegar's original "Walk On."
