Released in January 2011, 'Low Budget High Fi Music' was the eleventh release of Madlib's ambitious monthly 'Madlib Medicine Show' series. A who's who of regular Madlib collaborators - Guilty Simpson, Strong Arm Steady and Oh No among them - help the mercurial producer run through a typically eclectic mix that touches on genres from jazz and rock to soul and disco via Afrobeat, reggae and tropicalia.
