The Vienna Philharmonic welcomes Canadian conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin to lead the legendary 2026 New Year's Concert. This world famous event, broadcast to over 90 countries and reaching more than 50 million viewers, has been a tradition since 1939. Nézet Séguin's long standing collaboration with the orchestra includes highlights such as the acclaimed Summer Night Concert 2023. Joining the ranks of past maestros like Karajan, Kleiber, Mehta, and Dudamel, he brings fresh energy to one of classical music's most celebrated annual performances.
